2007 - Ann Arbor
On the night of Jan 14th Ann Arbor got freezing rain that covered everything in ice.
Monica and I went to Ottawa for a long weekend.
Monica, Jeremy, Huey Fang, and I took a trip to Michigan's west coast for a nice Memorial Day weekend trip.
Monica and I took the trip down the Huron River with Smootchie.
After a long battle with the single life and cohabitation, Marissa (Monica's cousin) and John finally got hitched. The ceremony was short and just sweet enough, much like the salmon and pomegranate martinis afterward.
After the wedding Monica and I went to Ocean Shores, WA to meet up with my family and fly kites.
For a quick day hike we drove up to Chinook Pass and hiked up the Sheep Lake trail.
Monica's mother and her husband were visiting. We spent the first two days visiting Mackinac Island.
We went to the opening of Viktor's art installation in Farmington Hill and then Kathy lead us on wild chase for restaraunts with Pita in their name.
I visited Pascale in Lausanne. I met a couple of her friends and then we took a bike ride to a lookout above the city.
I did some shopping and then, after the stores closed, wandered around.
Will was visiting, and by some luck we had a wirlwind tour of Lausanne, Bern, and Basel, finishing with an Italian dinner in Geneva with Marco.
Monica and I took a walk with Jeremy and Huey Fang around Hudson-Mills Metropark.
Monica, Jeremy, Huey Fang, and I visit a tree farm, borrow a saw, and do what comes naturally.
